I have been away from the domain-industry for a while, so I was wondering if you could give me an average selling price for 4 letter .com's.

Depends on the quality. Usually in the $xxx area.

The worst they'll sell for is around $50.

Although for anything decent, it'll be at least in the $xxx area.

they are getting more expensive rather quickly. lots of upside in these early stages of the internet. imagine 20 years from now? Those people holding babe ruth and ty cobb baseball cards back in the day wished they held on to them. Same concept!
