I have posted this on another forum, and might be usefull for some of you

So I have seen some threads of people that have got their domains hacked. I am going to share some of the top tips on how to avoid getting your domains scammed.

1# Install this free programs: CCleaner and Malwarebytes
and Install a Anti-Virus

2# Avoid downloading products and free stuff from the internet. Free giveaways of products that are paid are the ones that tends to be more malwares, hackers crack them and then simply add you a RAT/Keylogger that can bypass your anti-virus.

If you want to download from forums etc then make a VirtualBox or buy a VPS or use a another computer for that.

3# Do not click in any of your email links, avoid that! Always check if the email is coming from the right and trusted company. Some emails are very tricky for example I have received one from a fake godaddy scammer saying the following:

Account Notice : Error 2867

Godaddy donotreply@mail.godaddy.com via patria.timeweb.ru

Dear Valued GoDaddy Customer : /Name/

Your account contains more than 3258 directories and may pose a potential performance risk to the server.
Please reduce the number of directories for your account to prevent possible account deactivation.
In order to prevent your account from being locked out we recommend that you create special (tmp) directory.

Or use the link below:
#MALWARE LINK#

Sincerely.
GoDaddy Customer Support.

If you receive such messages always make sure to visit the original website and send the support a email. This email I received looks legit and really from godaddy.com but it´s NOT.

4# Avoid acessing to porn websites.

5# Do not download from torrents.

6# Do not enter with your accounts in public cafes/cybercafes

7# Make sure to check also if you´re PC is not infected, If it is then clear it and change all your passwords
