Hello all
Haven't posted anything in FOREVER, but I do come and read stuff every once in a while. Anyway, I got an email yesterday asking me if I wanted to sell a domain I've had sitting (forwarded) around.
bargaining.biz
the offer was for $250. Not sure if I even want to actually sell it but for a good price why not. Is $250 good for the domain or should I ask for more.
Thanks

Really not one single 'take it' or 'leave it' :disappointed:

Hmmmmm... dot biz are so yucky that any offer should be taken. However, in this case I would try to bargain (not too aggressively) up to 450 and see what happens.

If it is an end user they would put more emphasis on the beginning keyword, and not so much on the extension. Just because you as an investor know the .biz may not be desirable to all, there are some that still brand off it. Don't always be so quick to take offers, especially if they don't come everyday, open a conversation, and sell the keyword. An end users inexperience on domains extensions, is only your gain.

Thanks guys
I took Varlin's advice and countered at 475, figuring stop somewhere between 400-450
Anyway they agreed on the 475 last night. we'll see how it goes from now on.

Really weird how the .biz prices have bottomed out like that. I remember when even odd ones where selling for k's and one word biz were going for mil+
anyway gotta take what we can now I guess

Well... It takes an extremely powerful generic single word to make a dotbiz work in higher ranges. Say... money.biz, sex.biz, porn.biz, gold.biz. Curiously, these examples that I consider "powerful" are mostly parked, suggesting that there are no biz wanting a dot.biz to make their biz.

IMHO it was a good deal for both parts, specially if the buyer has a established biz already.

Really ? I can't remember that.
