Looks like someone from Canada... they took the .ca as well.

Didn't the .com sale occur 2 months ago?

Possibly just noticed it on sedo!

It was also a name that was for sale on this board a few years ago as well.

Apparently it was first offered on DNF with a BIN of ~$8k.

timing is everything i guess

I've thought about picking up some good LLLL.ca that are pronouncable and brandable, like beem or some CVCV, but I think it's too early for that. Could end up holding them a long time.

...and everyone thought it was overpriced.

The opinions of people on this forum or worth less than 2 cents. Never value your names by what other domainers tell you, especially if they are making an offer. I have sold many names (over $300K in sales) and I was told over and over again I'd never get what I was asking for any of those names.

For sure you will not get end user price from resellers, but Beem was priced at 8k on the forum, which is much closer to reseller pricing.

ah, another lucky winner of the domain lottery. i wonder if my day will ever come.

when you completely loose hope , it comes

the problem with being frustrated seller :)

What a bargain. A totally generic word with literally hundreds of meanings - a word we use every day. Not surprised it sold for so much. The traffic alone will likely repay that within a few weeks. Just goes to show if you have a four letter domain I wouldn't even listen to anyone offering less then 6 figures from now on. Cashcows has hit the nail on the head. This, along with the thousands of other 6 figure sales for similar 4 letter domains, show that domainers don't know squat.
OK someone now please appraise my lottery ticket. It cost me one euro and the prize is one million euros.
