Bob Barr, former congressman, announced this week that he will probably be running for president as a Libertarian.

(Libertarians believe in liberty. Note that RealLiberals.com is also for sale at DNForum)

As a former member of congress, he will probably be the most credible third-party candidate ever.

Click here to see Bob Barr announce his candidacy !

Bob Barr's official Web site is BobBarr.org, not .com ! That means people will be typing in the various domains, trying to find the right one!

Judging from the massive momentum that libertarian-minded Ron Paul generated, there is no telling how far Barr might go. America knows that the tax and spend Republocrats have taken America in the wrong direction - 80% of people say as much. America is ready for a Real Liberal to take the nation back to its founding values of individual liberty and small government.

Auction ends April 24, 12 noon NYC time. Starting bid of $50. Bid increment of $25. (50 - 75 - 100 - 125 - 150...)

Note: If Bob Barr contacts me to get BobBarr.info before I sell it, I will give it to him. I am a Libertarian.

A Libertarian Surge?
Bob Barr will be dry-eyed if his candidacy is to John McCain what Ralph Nader's was to Al Gore in 2000.

Compact and Feisty Bob Barr, 59, probably will seek and get the presidential nomination of the Libertarian Party, which convenes in Denver on Memorial Day weekend. Given the recent fund-raising prowess of a kindred spirit—Ron Paul's campaign for the Republican nomination siphoned up $35 million, mostly off the Internet—libertarians are feeling their oats. Come November, Barr conceivably could be to John McCain what Ralph Nader was to Al Gore in 2000—ruinous....
