Pretty big industry there - I think you could do fairly well if you market it properly.

As a marketing agency with theatres for clients, I can tell you that there is a severe shortage of good info sites for these films. I would think that development would bring a lot more $$ than a sale right now. There is a wide open opportunity for someone with the interest and drive to get a very popular website going.

First of all thanks to all for replying.

FrontRow: I really appreciate your kind input. I actually only develop domains after getting them. What would be nice is if you can be more specific as to development. Did you mean to say to setup a movie review site or something similar? Can you give me some examples as well? Would really appreciate. Thank you once again

I frequently get clients who will book one of these films then ask me to put some info on their web site. The problem is that as hard as I try, I cannot find anything out there to use as research material for things such as a photo, synopsis, cast list or reviews. And forget about getting actual support from the film distributors themselves - they are usually totally inept at the marketing side of film distribution.

This leaves me with the uncomfortable task of speculating or leaving gaping holes on the info pages of my web sites.

For American films, I have a lot more options such as the official web site, Yahoo! Movies, IMDB, Moviefone, etc. There is just no good counterpart for Indian cinema. Yahoo! has made a minor effort in this area but it is really inadequate.
