I recently got an offer on this but just wondering what you think it's worth.

To give you an idea what a .ca might be worth. According to DNjournal the following .ca's were sold for the week of Aug 11 - Aug 17 / 2008

fairtrade.ca - $4488
HolidayCheck.ca - $3000
sexphoto.ca - $2500

wow. 41 views and no opinions...

Okay - Bonk is not any sort of typo for bank and it has meaning as a word, at least in comic books "BONK!" but do you really think it is worth even so much as a thousand dollars? As a novelty domain I would pay about $165 for it.

Thanks for your post MSN. Ultimately a domain is worth what someone will pay for it. Since I've already had offers in the low $xxxx range I know it is worth at least that much.

As a very memorable 4 letter word it would fetch a premium since there are no 4 letter words left to register. As far as meaning, I was thinking of the following:

Any industry - Being a short and highly brandable it might be suitable for any industry.
Marketing - as in "bonk" and idea for innovation/promotion strikes you
porn - obvious connotation here
MMA - maybe a little cute for a UFC type site but that's what makes it memorable.

If you have offers that high you should take them. Even bonk.com is not being used as a branded destination; it is "Weather Bonk" instead.

I'd have to agree. If you had low XXXX then unless you plan to hold it for another 5 years, I think you may have missed the boat.

Anything I can use bonk.ca for I could use zonk.ca for or conk.ca. I would value it around 300$ right now.

I think low x,xxx is a fair value right now. The examples you gave can be related to business, travel, and adult - bonk isn't as readily commercial, so someone would have to brand it or hold it for appreciation. The price for holidaycheck seemed a bit high to me, unless I am unaware of some meaning this term has.

high xxx IMO - reseller of course
