ok.. well I always assumed the first registration reflects the total age of the domain, not the last registration. If this is the case then I apologize for the mistake.
But think about it: If you buy a car in 2001 and a new owner buys it in june 2010; is the car then 9 years old or 3 months?

Unfortunately, once a domain expires its age is lost. Still the domain is brandable, especially for a fun/comedy/voting site. I think you're selling it too low
