Hi all, recently I heard about BrandBucket.com. It seems like a good platform for selling brandable domain names but since listing on that site requires a fee of $10 (I think), I think it'd be good if double check with you peeps to see if BrandBucket is worth the try..

They claimed to have sold Envato.com http://www.brandbucket.com/envato , if that's real, I think I'll go for it.. Should I? (My domains are short and brandable as well, check my sig eg)

I personally emailed their CEO and she/he said the following domains of mine could do well with their site:

ambeon.com
symbat.com
nedua.com
renero.com
kulmo.com
knorb.com
symlite.com
xaiga.com
timbil.com
goldien.com

Any suggestions?:uhoh: (PS. I bought them all at reg fee)

Really like Margot a lot, and it's an interesting concept, but it seems a little too good to be true. I had 10 domains there for quite some time and got zero activity.

She's telling you what you want to hear so that

a) You'll pay the $10 listing fee

b) They'll have product on their shelves which they have opportunity to earn commission on

They're OK names. Symbat is my favorite out of all of them... solid two syllable, six letter name with minimal misspelling opportunity (the "lite" in "symlite" makes that name a little more difficult).

If I were you, I'd list one name and see how it does. Then, if it works, try a few more. But don't put them in all at once. You listed 10 names, so you'd be out $100 before anyone can even see them!

Thanks for the good advice, I'll probably just list symbat.com and maybe kulmo.com pretty soon to test the market there.
