OK, this is my first appraisal request.

Just registered.

And I have a site up for this already, www.brownstones.info.

The .com is directed to buydomains.com.
(Wonder what he wants?)

Opinions?

I thought I'd start out small, before I add the big cities.:)

I like this name, and feel stupid, last week I was working on a street with nothing but brownstones, in New York.

Overture/September:

brownstones 467

brownstone 2932 (all the good ones are taken)

Its amazing how many ppl. will reg a DN without checking it in singular and plural (not that you did).
You got the best one available.
You'll probably get type-ins, and 'info' works very well.

Its a good name, good luck with it.

They are all walkups (no elevators). Many of these buildings have some original details like fireplace mantles, ceiling medallions, and other decorative accents. Popular because of high ceilings, wooden floors, large windows, etc. Many have been converted into single occupancy homes. The word "brownstone" refers to the type of building material used, i.e. brown stones. Many once lined the streets of 5th Avenue in N.Y. in the 19th and early 20th century. They are very pricey in todays market.

Good question, thanks for asking and I hope this info helps others unfamiliar with brownstones.
