Browser compatibility

I am using Mac OSX.

When I go to one of the domains I am parking at Sedo in my MS Explorer browser, everything is in english and appears ok.

When I do the same using Safari, several things are in German. I then choose the pulldown and select English yet I still get German.

Is your system not compatible with Safari?

Also, your new website design has several problems in MS Explorer on the Mac, broken graphics, etc.

Hello from Sedo,

When you use Safari, are you operating from your workplace?
Sometimes, companies have foreign IP addresses and as Sedo is geo-targetted, our system then automatically reverts to the language of that country.

I'm not a Mac user myself, so I can't say what the problem there might be, but I'll contact our tech department and will get back to you with an answer within the day!

Hi Nora,

I am in the United States, Alaska to be specific. We are on a 2.4M Cable connection with the largest ISP in the state.

The problem occurs when using Safari on Mac OSX, but Explorer on OSX is fine so I don't think it is IP related but more likely browser compatibilty issues. Also my PC running XP w/explorer on the same cable connection works fine.

I've just spoken to our tech deptartment.
Apparently there are some compatibility issues with Macs.
Our IT team is currently trying to resolve these issues.
We hope to iron out these problems soon.
We regret that you are having problems as a Mac user and we are working on targetting the site for Safari.
