How much do you think a business website which gets around 70,000 unique visitors per month, and has a Google pagerank of 6 would be worth?

The domain name is six letters, but isnt generic or keyword rich, but is prouncable. (I want to keep it private at this time).

Most of the traffic is from Google, from people searching for news items or a company.

If I were to consider selling it, what kind of price do you think would be fair?

Really hard to say without more details. Is the traffic going to stay, does it cost anything to create the traffic, is the PR going to stick around, How easily can the traffic be monetized, etc?

I would start with something like 10 cents per annual visitor ($84,000) and move the value up or down significantly from there based on the details.

And what is it selling? After all, a branded site is only really valuable if it is creating commerce of some kind on the back side.

Are you selling Jello? Do the people that go there expect to find something of value of is it just information? If so, are there relevant ads with high conversion? It may get 70K unique visitors but only 3 clicks... in that case, it's worth about .30 cents a day?

There ALOT more to be known here.
