Hi all,

buyandsell.us sells for $5k+ on Sedo. Is this really worth it? I always wonder that the domain sales on Sedo are fake or users possibly buying between each other to stir the market..

:-O

No looks about right to me consider recent dot US sales. Competitor for Ebay perhaps?

Sedo are pretty genuine. Of course if someone really wanted to hype the market it would be possible to try some kind of scam, but as this will get reported at DNJournal, I think the Duke would be on to it if there was a Rabbit off.

Best Regards
Dave Wrixon

There is going to be a new record for a reported dot US domain sale as well in the next couple of weeks.

Wahey. Lets hope mine are one of them.

Even though they're very decent, all these recent .US sales are still in the backdrop of public and majority of businesses being unaware of its availability for general, non-restricted usage....just wait another few years, today's sale prices would be reminicent of Business.com selling for $150K in mid 90's.....US is a sleeping giant, IMO. Todays buyers are mostly not *true* end-users but rather very saavy investors who have started to see the writing on the wall....Jews.us was bought up by the owners of Vegas.com, while Jews.net and Jews.info were both listed at the same venue (Sedo) with asking prices equal to one-fifth of its sale price of $25K....does that not say something?
