Hey All,

I am looking to purchase a domain that is parked from someone that has a private whois. There is no contact info on the site and I can't seem to find any information on the owner.

Is there anyway to get in contact with this person to see if they would sell?

Search whois history or google the name and see if there is any history
you can also try archive.org

Is there any free whois historical search?

PM me the domain and I'll look it up for you.

I thought you could just contact the registrar... they will contact the owner.

Am I wrong about this??

There should be a working contact email on whois, or you can just contact the registrar.

What happens if the email and phone number on file are not resulting in a response?

What can the registrar do?

Not much... What about posting the domain name in domains wanted and one day the owner might see it?

I've been having the same issue....i contacted the registrar...and they don't respond either.

I'm willing to pay money if someone can get a hold of this guy...but i also don't want to harass him.

Another little tip..

By a subscription to a company look up tool. When I run into bad info but see a company name I simply search it and find the names I need, use that to nail down cities, further on to 411.com etc.

Unless the individual(s) are dead, they own a phone.

JP,

I have a valid phone number that rings but they don't answer... I've done a reverse look-up and everything. It all matches address and everything.

Well, is it a business number? If so every business has officers and every officer has a home :)
