A name I am interested in just expired. It is registered at Register.com. I have noticed they have frequently bought expired names at their registry for themselves. If they keep this name, rather than returning it to the pool I am wondering how difficult it will be to buy from them. Have any of you had any experience trying to buy an expired name directly from them. (Doesn't look like they will use Afternic to try to market these names since that project is pretty much history).

I wanted an expired name from them that was sitting in their unpaid names dept. I emailed them 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for a reply!

I've bought two domains from private buyers through Regsiter.com andtheir service and response times have been awful.

I'm waiting on a number of domains that have expired months ago and are still either in their 'unpaid' dept or just waiting to come onto the market.

They are shysters.

A few of them are in dispute proceedings and can not be sold at all.

I said a few of them, not all.

Just waiting for the winner party.
