A guy lowballed me at Sedo with $100 for a domain that could easly worth $XX,XXX (I have received offers).

So, I was wondering if I reply his $100 offer with $101..... so he matches the price in his next offer... than I can cancel the transaction just like that... right?

I ask this, because I sort of remember a situation that happened to me in the past, as seller too.
I received an offer for a domain I had an appraisal from Sedo.
The initial buyer offer was way too low... the Sedo appraisal was very far from his offer, but still it was the half of the price I considered it for the domain.

So, in a rush, I replied with the Sedo appraisal from the dropdown list, and surprisingly the buyer jumped his offer with two extra zeroes, like if the Sedo appraisal was the real thing.
Then, I don't remember what happened next and I don't see it in my Sedo transactions history, but of course I didn't sell.
I think I just never responded again when he matched the appraisal price and that's was it... Sedo might eventually canceled the negotiation.

Honestly if you were to do something like that I probably would not want to do business with you because its done in bad humor. I would be a bit hesitant when buying or selling with you.

I know that it was a joke kinda but still its just not something I would do.

Read the TOS, Sedo will give 'buyer' your details for possible legal action.

Accepting an offer constitutes a legally binding agreement and should be given serious consideration. Once an offer has been accepted the buyer has a legal right they can seek to have enforced in a court of law. Sellers who refuse to complete an accepted transaction risk having their Sedo accounts cancelled

For some reason, I thought I would still have the last word, or the "last click" to accept the transaction or not.

As I rarely buy in Sedo, actually, I've never bought in Sedo!!...... so.. well I didn't know the other side.
