If sending a private bid, only the amount of the bid will be posted here - your user name will not be revealed publicly during the auction - however the operators of DNForum reserve the right to scrutinize private bids sent via PM if they choose to - point is that the amount of any private bids I post shall reflect actual bids received.

Upon the first bid, the auction clock starts with the auction ending on the 6th calendar day following the first bid at 10 PM EST (7 PM PST) DNForum board time* unless there are bids in the final moments ... bids received in the last 15 minutes of the auction (9:45 PM EST DNForum board time* and afterwards) will automatically extend the auction each time by an additional 15 minutes from the time of last bid.
All bids must be posted here in this thread only.
* If DNForum board time is more than 10 minutes out of alignment of official time for Eastern Standard Time (EST) as maintained by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at http://nist.time.gov/ , then NIST time shall control instead of DNForum board time where applicable.

CANNABIS.COM gets approx 8,000+ unique visitors per day with about 4,500 daily to the cannabis.com homepage alone. Much of the traffic is from search engines, quality hard-links, and direct type-ins / bookmarks.
Grossed approx $100K in 2005 ... revenues have been consistantly around $7K to $10K per month with the biggest expense being hosting; a buyer could likely easily reduce the hosting costs, especially if they already have a large hosting presence elsewhere.
The revenue numbers above are not guaranteed, but are provided to further illustrate that a viable business can be built around the CANNABIS.COM domain name. Much of the value of this package is in the CANNABIS.COM domain name itself and the large amount of traffic it gets - a great springboard to expand and/or start other sites with.
I've received numerous offers over $100K in the last 6 months of 2005 with three offers in the $250K range and the highest offer to date, about 2 months ago, of $500K ... that's over 5 times higher than the highest bonafide offer I had in 2004 ... this package has greatly appreciated in value, and continues to do so; domains are among the fastest growing investments out there today!
