I hope this belongs here, if not I am sorry.

Hey guys,

Yet another newbie question here.

I am trying to build my site which will have quite a few informational articles that are categorized. I was just wondering if it’s better to pull the info from a database or to just hand code an obscene amount of static pages for every article. What are the benefits to either? Somewhere I read that you want more pages so spiders pickup your site better? (Not even sure if that makes any sense what-so-ever). Any advice on this would be very highly appreciated.

Thanks, Grush.

Spiders are generally attrracted to content-rich sites, so that might help you a bit. I would use a database to get the layout for your site rather than "hand coding" every page. I'm not exactly what you would call an expert on this matter, but you should do whatever saves time :).
