I got 2 BMW names today.... yes, there maybe tm issues, but they were both only $8.75 and if the BMW had not persued legal action with these before, why would they now?

Anyways....

BMWZ8.net - the Z8 is the most well known BMW in history after appearing in the James Bond movie, gets 58,000 google results for BMW Z8

-----------------------------------------------------

BMWM6.net - this is interesting! It was just announced BMW will produce its M6 supercar next year - it will be the fastest BMW ever built, with a price of around $100,000 - this story just appeared in the Car Magazine Road and Track, I link to a pic of the car is below:

I'm still hung up on the TM issue and it's hard for me to give them a value. They would be great for a forum site though...

$100 max because of the TM I suppose would be my answer to your question.

I love German cars. Glad to see you left those Fords - aka Jags - alone and went for real cars ;)

lol!

I wonder which names I should put up on ebay?

cough, well If they come after the names I would transfer them to BMW - I only spent $8.75 on each of the names, any opinions as to how much this will sell for on Ebay to the people who dont care about these TM issues?

If that is the case are you not admitting to pre-mediated fraud?

No, by selling names that you know may be liable to TM issues in the hope that a potential buyer may not know about the issue. Don't forget you have already admitted that here in writing!

Check with the lawyers here, I think you will find that is called fraud.

you are right....

if you believe me, what I meant to say was the people who dont care about the TM's on the domains, there are many people like that....if you like I can post a message on my ebay auctions stating the possible TM problems, does that fix the problem?

Sorry guys, new to this whole TM thing - thanks for explaining it now, rather than when I get in a sh*tload of trouble for it :)

thinking of putting my BMW domain up tomorrow, I will include a section talking about the possible TM issues

I think it's your best course of action.

It also seems that BMW only gets nasty when the letters BMW are in the DN...

yea, I saw that..... well, Right now I'm trying to decide if I should keep 'em or just put them on ebay right now.....hmm.....
