Chinese IDN Popular?

How does traffic for Chinese IDN domains compare with the ASCII (pinyin) versions? Do Chinese use IDN yet?

Assuming they use (or will use) them, which is better: 'IDN'.com or 'IDN'.cn ? Will there be 'IDN'.'IDN' in the future?

I'm thinking about making some investments, but want to invest as wisely as possible. Any thoughts on the Chinese IDN market would be appreciated.
