Hi,

Whois record:

Status:CLIENT HOLD
Status:PENDING DELETE

Hi, I thought when a DN went to "pending delete" it would drop in 5-6 days.

Now, I notice when ever a Whois record displays:

Status:CLIENT HOLD - Status:PENDING DELETE.....that they never drop (even after 20 days)

Can someone explain this?

Whats the difference between "client hold" and "registrar hold"?

What/were/when/ do these client hold-pending deletes....drop?

Thanks in advance for your replys.

Dan

My experience says if it says "Pending Delete" it will drop 6 days after the last "updated date" no matter what else it says.

.org domains don't follow the same procedure as .com and .net domains.

CLIENT HOLD would be the .org equivalent of REGISTRAR-HOLD.

Thanks....Toast......my example was .org

So, if its com or net it will drop in 6 days if it says: client hold or registar hold?

and then .orgs will drop 60-75 days after it says "pending delete" on a client hold?
