Could you close your account, or have it closed, and then buy an invite from someone? I don't see why you couldn't, but I dropped by anyway.

I think this would take away from what it means to be a DNF member and the code of honor that you hold.

You should earn it legitimately, instead of just "Getting" and invitation.

Kind of taking advantage of it. DNF gave us invites to get new members, not to use them on ourselfs!

Boy, you make it sound like we're crime fighting ninjas or something.

It's just that there are Exclusive invites spread over the net for a measly $120, so it crossed my mind. Thanks for the feedback.

You can upgrade with forum dollars too.

Yes you can. To upgrade from Plat to Exclusive, it cost 35,000 dnf$.
Which, would cost you approx. $ 350.

Therefore, you have the choice of paying $ 350 and maintain your identity.
Or, Pay $ 120. and start with a new identity.

Doesn't this sound a little silly?

So we can sell our invites to existing members now?

I guess that could be done but you'd lose your posts and identity.
No problem. Thank you GD.
Please cancel my account asap

"It can be done" meaning technically. That's obvious. If administration finds out they will not merge your two accounts, and you may be risking your Exclusive status, so I would not try it.

Should the exclusive members advertise the availability of invites in the advertising section?

And, the Platinum members should post their interest to buy in the advertising section?

Or, should both parties go to ebay and look for offers?

Another point, can I transfer my present platinum membership to someone else?
A family member? Business associate?

The rules have not changed. Invites are for non-members only.

Is it possible to buy an invite and start over with a new identity? How am I supposed to answer that? Obviously, it's possible. Does that mean we allow it? No, we do not. Those are the rules. You can sell your invites to non-member friends, and non-members can use them for new accounts.

Or post a request to purchase the required stack-load of DNF$ at $0.005 (= paying $175) rate from someone/various folks in the DNF$ section and thus upgrade from Platinum to Exclusive for half-price!? :-D
