You need to disclose that this symbol domain does not comply with IDNA 2008 and its future is to stop resolving.

I just learned about that although from what I gathered it's been 3 years since that call and still no implementation and it's not sure that it ever will. And in the meantime they're still working and Google acquired the "plus" symbol ˖.com (xn--dra.com) (source).

I am not sure about the validity of google "just" acquired the Plus symbol.

Plus, what was the price paid?

Could have been a buck. Or perhaps reg fee when it dropped.

IF you quote on part of the source, please read and update the reader on the entire source:

What is IDNA 2008 and How does it Impact Symbol Domains?
IDNA 2008 disallows about eight thousand characters that used to be valid, including all uppercase characters, full/half-width variants, symbols, and punctuation. It also interprets four characters differently.
So it appears that although individuals may have browsers & website software which can properly render the symbol domains, as soon as our software starts observing the IDNA2008 standard they won’t. However, even with IDNA2008, these domains are still changing hands.

New symbols can't be registered so with the exception of them snapping it (which I doubt), they probably bought it. For how much? I don't see how it matters. Does it matter that they have one? I think it does.

Like I said before IDNA2008 was announced 3 years ago, who knows when it will be implemented if ever and if it takes so long that's probably because there's something wrong with it.

But anyway, do I come in your threads and say what you need to add or not? No, so don't. Although I could, yes I could go along saying "isongs? that's a possible trademark infringement right there, beware this domain might get seized by the I.C.E.".

Yes, the punycode works and you can still sell them; all I am saying is that they are slated for eventual deletion. When you sell a domain you need to inform all potential buyers of anything that might impair their investment, especially when you're asking for crazy amounts of money for it.
