Nice ! I couldnt even log in today to bid. You guys are losing money !
Someone's walking away with deals too.

This is what it takes to host webhostingtalk :

Our advanced hosting solution at RackSpace consists of a firewall in front of a Cisco load balancer unit. We have 5 web servers which are Dell PowerEdge 2650 boxes with 2 GIG of ram, dual 2.0 GHz Intel Xeon processors and 3 15000 RPM SCSI drives running Raid 5. Each site hosted connects to one of 3 seperate database servers over a backup network. Each database server is a Dell PowerEdge 2650 server with 4 GB ram, dual 2.0 GHz Intel Xeon processors with 3 15000 RPM SCSI drives running in a raid 5 configuration.

I think Enom need to get the same :)

I place my bids as soon as a new droplist is released (EX:7-28-2004.txt for today) - this way I make sure I have my bids placed.
When I am in a private auction, I just login sooner :-)
As for eNom servers back-end, they do need a new solution.

My first attempt to place a bid, but I was unable to do so...

I'm highly disappointed....

Hopefully they will extend the auctions.

Just hangs and hangs ....................................... :-(

great name for military apparel. :)

Yep, problems again today. They are kicking Pools Butt lately tho..

AIRBORNEEXPRESS.COM - Perfect name to be sued for having..

Be afraid when it is a name like that. They won't have it long IMO.
You think it is smart to pay 5k for that name?

I had the snap for AIRBORNEEXPRESS.COM but of course snapnames is worthless.

I learned my lesson the hard way once... I would never wish that on my worse enemy...

I think enom problems will soon be solved. I mailed them a suggestion to break the auctioned domains into 10 or 20 per page so that it will be easy to select a domain and bid. ANd i got a reply from them that they are working on it. :)

Enom rocks, they answer all the queries sent to them by the customers.

They also read this forum and take what people say into consideration :-)

Welcome back Chris! How was your holiday?
Many people here thought that club drop was falling apart without you.

Heh. Well, I don't work on the front-end, but I do know that those who do were working very hard to resolve the issues. It's truly a case of a rapid increase in popularity now that we're catching upwards of half of the high-value names on a day-by-day basis. But I believe they've found and eliminated the problems and identified some improvements that are in the pipeline.

My vacation was... well, it didn't suck. We went camping for 4 days along the Oregon coast. Now I'm not a huge camping kind of guy. My idea of a vacation is a cruise, or a sandy beach in the Caribbean, or a few days of SCUBA in Belize or Cancun. But my wife wanted to go camping, and I indulged her. But it wasn't that bad, and I did dig being able to sit around the campfire and relax.
