I place my bids as soon as a new droplist is released (EX:7-28-2004.txt for today) - this way I make sure I have my bids placed.
When I am in a private auction, I just login sooner
As for eNom servers back-end, they do need a new solution.

I think enom problems will soon be solved. I mailed them a suggestion to break the auctioned domains into 10 or 20 per page so that it will be easy to select a domain and bid. ANd i got a reply from them that they are working on it.

Enom rocks, they answer all the queries sent to them by the customers.

Heh. Well, I don't work on the front-end, but I do know that those who do were working very hard to resolve the issues. It's truly a case of a rapid increase in popularity now that we're catching upwards of half of the high-value names on a day-by-day basis. But I believe they've found and eliminated the problems and identified some improvements that are in the pipeline.

My vacation was... well, it didn't suck. We went camping for 4 days along the Oregon coast. Now I'm not a huge camping kind of guy. My idea of a vacation is a cruise, or a sandy beach in the Caribbean, or a few days of SCUBA in Belize or Cancun. But my wife wanted to go camping, and I indulged her. But it wasn't that bad, and I did dig being able to sit around the campfire and relax.
