Greetings Club Drop Users,

We are excited by the success of Club Drop. Your participation has helped make this the premier domain drop catcher on the Internet.*

As of July 28th, the Club Drop Promotional Pricing is ending; therefore, we have made the following important changes to Club Drop rules. Please read this email carefully.

Changes to Reverse Auction Pricing
We will be adjusting the initial price for reverse auctions on Club Drop. The initial price will increase from $60.00 to $120.00. Once the auction starts, prices will drop at a faster rate in order to keep auction closing times consistent.

Changes to Minimum Entries
The minimum entry for Club Drop will increase from $10.00 to $15.00.

Changes to Club Drop Bid Increment Requirements
Per requests from our customers, the bid increment requirement on Club Drop (not auctions) has been reduced from $10.00 to $5.00, for bids below $100.00.

We look forward to continuing to provide you the best Club Drop experience.

Sincerely,

Club Drop Support Team

*Club Drop was awarded the 2005 Name Intelligence Award as Best Drop Catcher

It also looks like they have quietly dropped the charade that they catch biz/us domains. I am glad they finally removed that blatant lie from their site. Advertising a service they didn't provide made me very uncomfortable about the company as a whole.

They at one time did do so - but it just never worked and after a few weeks (or even a month I think) of trying to fix it and get it working they decided to scrap it altogether. It wasnt really a lie so much as it was broken and couldnt really be fixed/used in a decent manner.

I am not sure of the details on why though.
