The success of co.nr as a free subdomain (freedomain.co.nr) highlights the possible use of this name and emphasises the development potential for this name

these names are both registered until late 2008. After that, they will cost $110 per year which is considerably cheaper than most other cctlds on the market

thanks for your answer but sorry I disagree....many ccTLDs are cheaper than that unless you consider only the small countries.

ok, that is fine.

most small countries have far higher registration fees. For example, i owned poker.ki and casino.ki both with a reg fee of $1000 per year. The so called "obscure" cctlds (i.e. extensions excluding major countries) have an average reg fee of about $150 per year. i can name many extensions which are far higher than the .kn reg fee (.ag, .bs, .ki, .na, .af, .bo, .cg, .cm, .dm, .hm, .hn, .ir, .ht, .mw, .rw, .sn, .sr, .tn, .tt, .ug, .uz......to name a few)
