Does anyone know what the approximate one year registration fee will be for .co?

Different prices at different registrars. I think Godaddy is 29.99 and if you have more than 21 then it is 24.99 not sure
but you can check on it. Name.com is at $28 per year registration and renewals I would think.

Bummer, I was hoping it would be way higher. At only $29, it will be a mass typo TLD, which I'm not looking forward to having to deal with as both a domain investor and internet user.

Yeah, at $29 a pop, the registration traction could be decent. The volume of trademark infringement cases should be quite large as well, and right out of the starting gate.

prices will start from $24 up , depending on the registrar. Only 28,000 domains in landrush, so their should still be good domains out there.

after every landrush and all the hype.. the domains reg price usually falls down a lot...
just as the case with the .im market...
so i m hoping to see it fall down under 10$ just after a few weeks of public availability

.co would be the next best alternative to .com
so i would say Y get typos when you can actually get the actual names at a steal price..
cause only a few thousand domains or so are booked in the landrush.. others are yet to be taken

this gets u close to the names you want for just 29 $ or may be even less

28,000 domains during landrush and about 11,000 during sunrise. So a total of around 39,000. This still leaves a good number of good domains unregistered.
