For the obvious "communists" abbreviation, I don't think it's going anywhere, but there is another sector which might be be right for it -- PDAs and phones. The Nokia 9500 is called a 'communicator' as are several other PDAs that have qwerty keyboards. That's often abbreviated as 'commie' -- if you can develop it in that market then you have a great domain. $300~$1000.
