Don't be discouraged. These are domain speculators / resellers (as am I) that in some cases only look at typein values or quick resale of the dotcoms.

With a little content and traffic numbers, you can change some minds pretty quickly. Afterall, the search engines aren't prejudiced in any way. Unless someone can show me differently, the machines don't know the difference between a .com and a .us

Yeah but with a little content and traffic, you arent selling a domain, you are selling a website. I'm appraising the domains. And regardless of popularity, .us sucks. Why would someone buy something .us when they can buy something.whatever when a new extension comes out in a year?
