I have a number of domains with traffic, but little to no clicks.

What are the ways to try to convert traffic into clicks?

Any suggestion on what I can do to help clicks on a parked page?

Thanks.

Try everything. You will never know what works (over a period of time) if you don't try every alternate method there is.

Some are (not in that order)...

Build a mini site focused on the topic.
Create a mailing list or feed.
Build a blog
Place links to other names in your portfolio
Exchange links

For Parked pages...

Tweak the keywords every 3-7 days (Use Google adwords keyword tool)
Replace keywords not consistent with the domain name.
Add your domain to search engine index
Try various parking companies. Some names do well at different platforms.
If the parking co affords it, try experimenting between 1 click and 2 click landers.

There may be more suggestions. Maybe other forum members will enlighten you on those.

This is all I know of....

What are the ways to try to convert traffic into clicks?
Try contacting your account assistant, if you have one, or a representative of the parking company.

Be careful on Terms of Service with parking companies about how you promote your parked pages. Using links and listing your parked sites in your signature on forums to get traffic is frowned upon.

maybe the traffic is coming from an old image call? perhaps, your lander needs more targeting?

You can pay people to click, but that is usually considered fraud ...

If you're parking an expired domain (probably the most common and simplest scenario), check archive.org to learn what website the domain hosted previously and "optimize" the domain's lander keywords to reflect a product that prior website sold. If the website offered multiple products or services, choose the one with the highest PPC (pay-per-click) figure. You can research keyword PPC using the the Google AdWords Keyword Tool. Do NOT just stick with the default lander and core keywords your parking service assigns each domain -- you'll leave many parking dollars and cents on the table.
