We registered the domain name Crooza.com in January of 2005, and for a couple of years ran a restaurant guide website on it using Chefmoz data and Google Maps. When we got tired of stale ChefMoz data and constantly chasing the Maps API, we pulled the site.
In the summer of 2008, a company called Crooza Electric Scooters sprung into existence in Great Britain. Someone (I assume it was them) made a lowball offer for the .com, which we were still using at the time. We never came to an an agreement and Crooza Scooters had their site on Crooza.net until they went out of business a year and a half later. I both wonder if they would've survived if they'd have landed the .com and kick myself for not having the foresight to ask for an electric scooter in lieu of cash for the domain.
Long story short, now we're selling Crooza.com. It's at GoDaddy. Make us an offer.
