I added a closeout domain to my cart, but was initially confused at the pricing and deleted the domain from my cart.

However, when I searched for the name again, it was gone.

At first I thought someone sniped it before me, but then I proceeded to do this to two other names and found that the same thing occurred.

The name could no longer be found while searching for it, even though I deleted it from my cart.

So ... is the domain gone from their auction list forever or will it reappear after a few hours once they determine, that it hasn't been bought?

Really weird.

Thanks for your help.

It will reappear after they figure out it hasn't sold.

Thanks for replying, I figured that out just now as a searched for the domain again and was about to update this thread.

Thanks for your help Jack!

I did the same thing the other day.

Its a good way to put a name on hold while you think for a bit ;)

I was thinking about that too! Quite interesting. I wonder how long it actually stays off the list for.
