I see that it was registered during Sunrise using a Trademark.

Can the ownership be transferred?

hmm, I am not aware of any TM. Where do u see this info? It was bought right here an year ago. I will check with my seller though.

If Detroit is a TM and this can't be sold because of a TM, that will be a BIG news for me and many in this industry.

To my knowledge it was countries that were under ICANN control and couldn't be sold nor transferred...

FYI -- anyone with the sunrise trademark crap visible at http://www.afilias.info/cgi-bin/whois.cgi can and SHOULD file a support ticket with their registrar to have it removed, especially now that Afilias is repossessing some domains based on this. Otherwise it won't be removed unless the domain totally drops and is caught.
