Another of my creations to add to the many I have produced and sold this year.

The site is dedicated to teh discussion and information of crimes. I have included 4 elements to this site.

All parts of the site are integrated into 1 design and the pages are modular in that with little HTML knowledge you can move things around or add more without too much trouble.

The key part will probably be the building of a decent community, however a site with just a forum inspires nobody to contribute.

Adding some more and regular new, images, and stories to the site will encourage visitors to stay longer and join the forums.

Perfect opportunity for anyone interested in this subject or someone just wanting to develop and sell on once it gets moving.

Site Software

The site runs on free/open software, scripts used are

phpBB
Cutenews x2
Coppermine gallery

The index has some code which links directly to coppermine to display random images. You can change the number, size of thumbnails, etc...

The same applies to cutenews, the headline displays on the index, this is easy to change.

Another cutenews install which is modified to make the stories section look more index like to store all the stories, takes minutes to update the stories and they all auto display.

Overall the site takes no time to manage and the costs are limited to hosting.

All PSD files are included as well. This design is unique with the exception of the phpBB forum which is modified from someone elses design.

Stats

Its a new site, very little stats, 46 visitors in June so far, less for May when I started the site.

Advertising

Again no ads as its new, but I I have provided areas for banners and examples throughout the site where you can put them.

You mention that the forum is a modified design, does the original designer know it's been modified? Can I have a link to the original please?

Is the content on the site unique, if not where does it come from?

Do you have a starting price in mind or are you only taking bin offers?

the forum is available freely at phpbb.com, their is no need to inform the original owner of the modifications, the theme is called black and white. Providing the link to the original creator is left thats all they ask (it is at the bottom of the forum).

The content is to demonstrate its use only, its not unique.

Open to offers but unlikely to sell unless at BIN or very near to it.
