World War 2 Talk
PLEASE NOTE THAT PAYMENT PLANS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
I am looking to sell simply as I have taken the site as far as I am willing to and it now needs someone to spend some time on monetization and further development of the site.
This subject of WW2 is the best kind of subject a forum can have. Its historical and educational, it appeals to the masses. The posts whether made today or two years ago are still very relevant given your debating a historical subject and thats key to the success of a site like this unlike most forums where posts made days ago are pretty much out of date and serve only to enhance overall post counts but nothing more.
The forums have recently been mentioned in a new book about the Coleraine Battery and has been referred to numerous times by BBC Reasearchers in the UK who often frequent the site researching their upcoming programs. So it gets a high profile in the right areas.
The forums run on Vbulletin
The design is completely unique and was done by myself, so you will never find it anywhere else.
http://www.ww2talk.com
Created in early 2004 the site has went from strength to strengh, it forms the core of the network and is without doubt the most popular, its based around vbulletin and has a number of mods installed to enhance the site. There a number of loyal moderators who keep the site going and will without doubt remain.
As a WW2 forum there are no other sites worth spending time on that dont have a bias of some sort, this site does not.

www.wwiiforum.com has pagerank of 5
Software
The site runs a leased VB license and these can no longer be transferred. VBSEO software has been installed last month, this software is included to for your use, http://www.vbseo.com
Vbulletin 3.5.4
VBSEO
Various mods have been installed using the new VB plugin system
Advertising
The most recent advertising I carried out was for 3 weeks before we changed to VB, I ran Bidvertiser ads on a 468 x 60 at the top of the forums and made $13.30 during that 3 week period, I dont think bidvertiser pays out all that well though, google or ypn would be better. Proof of the bidvertiser income is available on request.
I do get numerous requests for ads to be put on site and only recently started to put something together to accomodate this in the form of phpadsnew. It has not been finished though.
No other revenue has been made other than a couple of hundred bucks some time ago running google ads for the 60th anniversary war veteran fund. That money was made over just a couple of months so the potential is there, probably more so as the site has grown so much since then.
Any questions on this site please ask.
