hey,

I took my first stab at grabbing a domain. Does you think digital-oasis.com has any resale value? If not, the page does have some ILs so I can play with that. Let me know what you think.

Joe

The hypen kinda takes the lustre out of it.
Undeveloped I don't see much resell value.
Worth the reg fee+ though.
I like the name :)

It would make a good file sharing dom.

Cheers!

Hey,

Thanks for the input. I'm just wondering though, how can the domain be worth the reg fee if it's not resellable? Just curious :)

Joe

My reg fee is $6.00 for .coms
Bottom feeder tld's are even less.

I guess what I am saying is it was worth registration.
Maybe even with some of the more expensive and less competent registrars like Internic/NetworkSolutions/Verisign/Morons...they keep changing their name it's so hard to keep up:)

Hey Mudfence,

Thanks for the reply. I see what you're saying. If you wouldn't mind, could you tell me where you get $6.00 registrations for .coms? The cheapest i've found is go-daddy at $8.95. I'd appreciate the info :).

Joe

Agree. Loses A LOT with that hyphen ... otherwise, excellent! Absolutely worth the registration fee (up to $35.00 U.S.). :)
Good Luck.

CoolHost - Thanks for the reply. I'm just wondering, in what 'way' is it worth it's registration? In order for it to be worth it I would assume it would need to get my registration fees back and then some. You think I could get more then my $8.95 registration for it? Please forgive my ignorance, I just want to be sure i'm not missing anything here!

Regards,
Joe

Pay the $100 reg fee with godaddy and you'll get the same price.
Especially if you do your own DNS.
