Actually, that's really, really good. I'm surprised...this is a great website, but that rank puts it above sites that get a lot of traffic.

By way of comparison, GreatDomains.com's Alexa rating is 9,746.

That would mean that DNF has more traffic than a multi-million dollar Verisign acquisition that was, in its heyday, domain central.

It's never the domain - however good it is.
True the domain is a part of the site - but not the most important.

I asked for an evaluation a while back for some domain that I had already goten rid of - the top estimate was less than 1/20th what their current webmasters think they're worth

dnForum.com - without Dan and the rest is worth less than zero.

 

I would say Dan plus moderators plus members who replied to questions and help people out.

Alexa has updated its website and since my post yesterday, DNFoum has climbed more than 400 places up the popularity ladder to 9,213rd position. Give it another year or so and it'll be in the triple figures !

And fizz gets to have the first review of the site at Alexa

c'mon folks, post some more reviews over at alexa. And install the alexa toolbar and make DNF really race up the popularity charts.
