Reg fee+

What does the first "S" stand for?

i think the double s is fine "dns server" gets over 8k overture whereas dn server gets 0. i think it's a good name for a tutorial/info site and the extension works just fine for this one.

Does it then read: "Domain Name Server Server" ?

Doesn't really matter, I suppose, if it's in common usage...

Perhaps "Defense Navigation Satellite Server" would be a better use for it...? ;)

Duplication, as mentioned.
$0.00 - Reg. fee!
Good Luck.

I never have seen it as dnserver before. But you are right...if you do use it in the correct terms...Domain Name Server Server does sound pretty weird. But the most common term used is dnsserver

Thanks for all of your input everyone..;)

Keep'm coming...

it's actually domain name system server. So, DNS server is the right way to say it.

Ok.....thats news to me, thanks Darker....;)
