Do any registrars still allow tasting?

I'm currently using Dynadot to taste a few names now and then, but they have a $2,50 fee per domain if a name is deleted in their grace period.

Are there any registrars out there that still let you taste domains without the fees?

Not really, because of Icann fees. Domains can still tasted within certain limits but not for free.

But some ccTLDs can be tasted for free.
.us I think, also .pl for 14 days
