If I purchase name(s) through TDNAM, do they lose there age? specifically $5 fire sale names...

thanks,
-Mike C.

They only lose their age when they drop - TDNAM is usually pre-drop sales. All the ones I've gotten (and though the $5 sales) didn't lose their age.

Yes, a domain that I recently got via TDNAM $5 closeout retains its "age" since 2007.

above answer is correct for all TDNAM auctions. they keep orig reg date.

Thanks all, another question ~ How long does it take for a $5 fire sale domain to transfer to your account? thanks

This thread let me recall the goldpoker.com case.

GoldPoker.com went for around $10k @ TDNAM in Jan 2009. Auction winner didn't pay so did 2nd high bidder then the domain dropped

Namejet successfully caught the name and auctioned it off for $30,100 in March, DNJ reported.

LOL

Normally 5 - 7 days. The quickest I have met was 3 day.

The domain age is NOT reset with TDNAM auctions.
