names that you sold months ago, or over a year ago- do you ever go and look to see if they are still just parked, or if someone actually did something with it?

Yeah, mostly names are still parked or pointing to an end users site; some have been traded on.

Also, it's amazing the number of buyers who don't even alter the DNS - I still earn revenue on some names that I've sold!

That's like passing by the house of a former girlfriend's to see who she's hanging out with. That's a no-no!

Yeah, it's amazing - out of the five biggest-$ domains I sold this year (up to low $xxxx), three are still sitting with the same parking sites I used; one has a "coming soon" type of page; and one doesn't resolve at all.

That's like passing by the house of a former girlfriend's to see who she's hanging out with. That's a no-no!
Except in this case, that girlfriend could still be providing you with "benefits" even though she supposedly belongs to someone else!

 I know what you mean Acro.

When I look back, that bitch of a domain looks even more georgous with a developed site with all the bells & whistles. And this always makes me think I let her go too early & too cheap.

Do not want to look as I am afraid she may be pregnant!

Don't have the time to find out who the father is!

I have actually sold a few sites very cheap to certain people to see how they improve it -- and knowing how they do it has made me thousands of dollars. :p So sneaking into ex's house may or may not be a good idea but I do it anyway.

And talking of domains, I am still shocked at some of the names I sold ages ago still make me parking revenue.

I never look back. I'm scared my ex will flaunt something I'll regret. :D

sure, I do

I even look at the price I sold them for and compare to going rates for those types of names now.

Some of the names I've sold in the past have been developed into viable websites.

Some are still parked.

and....some got dropped and I re-regged them and re-sold them again! :)

i am so guilty of being the fool on the other side who didnt change the dns! during busy times its hard to keep up- finally i learned about the freakin global edit! now for the most part i do it all at once and change them over-

Only at the invitation of the new owner.

Not mine anymore, time to move on.

When I look back, that bitch of a domain looks even more georgous with a developed site 1 with all the bells 2 & whistles 3. And this always makes me think I let her go too early & too cheap.
