I acquired a few LLN.org and .info domains, not much more than a reg fee.

A few include:

bj4.org (Blow***-4?)
au7.org (gold-7?)
au6.org (gold-6?)
ag3.org (Silver-3?)
bf4.org
a05.info

Do you think I made a good choice? The .infos were a reg fee - $3 so I figured what the heck.

No, no. It's never too late to get into the game. But don't start handregging everything you can think of. Instead, purchase some domains that you know have value. Start with buying 2-3 3-character .COM's for example and put them up for sale a couple of weeks later, or at an auction site like Sedo. You'll make a few bucks and the next round you can afford 4-5 3-character .COM's, you'll make some new bucks (hopefully) and then you're off looking for more purchases.. Good luck.

Thanx for the vote of confidence. Luckily, I did make a few bucks in the last week of Dec when I went back to Sedo (after 5 months of making nothing on Afternic), which will pay for part of a registration fee.

I thought at least the AG and AU domains would have value - silver and gold (literally). Luckily, though, I did snag a few ones that I think were good the past few months (by paying attention on trends in other forums). We'll see where these go.

I also need to get off my @$$ (well, actually, onto my @$$) and start devoloping a few of the domains that I've wanted to devolop.

Very rare to find anything available to reg thats worth anything besides new tech terms and the like, which are usually snapped up pretty quick by the pros anyways. it takes money to make money these days.

all L-L-L.coms are taken, dont look for something thats available, try to buy a couple that are ok and have potential (stay away from mobi). Maybe buy some mid quality one word .info domains. For the money you spent on those other domains you could have already bought some ok .info one worders, maybe nothing great, but I have many real one word .infos that I would sell for mid to high $$, and once you develop a name thats ok to begin with you can sell it down the road for a lot more.

Stay away from Mobi???? Why??

I have noticed that Rabo Bank netherlands has registered mobielbankieren.mobi wich means mobilebanking.mobi.
Now, this is a huge bank in europe.

I for myself have some nice mobi names wich has to do with mobile banking
and also related to products currently used by banks.

The future will tell if I was wrong or not but its just a small investment
so why not take the risk, nothing to loose.
