Sorry .. none that I can remember right now.
It's not very often that I visit sites with a hyphen.. and if I do, I probably don't type it in .. most likely got there through a link..

I visit hyphenated domains if they exist as a link. But to type them in on purpose instead of the single word variant, no.

can't say I can really think of a site which I use that has a hyphenated domain. Using them just keeps the guy with the non hyphenated version happy; unless your only going to use it for search engine placement only.

I visit www.m-w.com on a regular basis, which has a hyphen (it's an online dictionary). I think 3-letter dot-coms with a hypen in the middle, i.e. ?-?.com will always have some value, as consolation prizes for firms that can't get 2-letter domains.

I disagree; there is nothing more hideous than a hyphenated 3 char domain.

I woud own e.g. G8K.com anytime over G-K.com
Try saying that on air.

I think hyphenated .com's are ok if they are descriptive.

Meaning, if you are going to develop ny-homes.com, it would have to be better than something that is not describing what your site is actually about.

At the end of the day, all you want is someone to click the link and bookmark the url.

It isn't all that often that you type any url more than once. hyphen or no hyphen.

Values of undeveloped hyphenated names maybe a different story though.

In the UK Marks and Spencer promote loan-sale.co.uk on tv/radio adverts and promotional material and I just heard a radio advert for a theme park at pleasure-island.co.uk neither company has the non-hyphen version in fact pleasureisland.co.uk is actually a porn site!

So a hyphen version can be good for promoting and as luckyphil said all you need is people to find it/click the link, bookmark it and they can always find you

Just for your reference: I registered web-based.com about 3 years ago, tried hard to sell it for as low as $300 but unsuccessful. I hate it so much that I dumped it instead of re-registering it for a few dollars (and weird enough, it was then registered by someone else!). And this is for a word where the non-hyphenated version (webbased.com) is not any better.

Mostly via links, but on occasion I will use the "hyphen" for high level key searches.
