There was a pending delete domain I was following on Namejet that was about to enter auction

Just before the auction was set to start, the Whois changes and the new owner is Frank Schilling contact info below:

Administrative Contact:
Name Administration Inc.
Host Master ()
+1.3459466879
Fax: +1.3449466879
Box 10518 A.P.O.

KY

What gives?

How come this domain skipped going to auction ?

Frank Schilling is the Chuck Norris of domaining. The answer to "How did he do it?" is a simple "Because he's Frank Schilling".

Non-current WHOIS info shows a Dana Ventura.
And in my opinion the domain is of poor quality.

Acro

I agree the domain is of questionable quality. I had only very minor interest in acquiring the domain.

Truthfully, I am more intrigued how Mr. Schilling was able to receive the domain in question w/o it going to auction.

That is the more interesting story to me as it effects my strategy on future domains that are going to go into pend/delete if Mr. schilling has the opportunity to cherry pick from NameJet for cash offers up front

Thanks

LB

I suppose they are business partners and that is ok when one is CEO and another is domain name owner for example.

This domain was in pre-release and was won in auction with 29 bidders, all fair and square.

I had the auction on back order but I dont see the auction history in my Reports on the NJ dashboard

Would u be kind enough to let me know what was the final price for this auction ?

That's the twin brother of Ace Ventura.

Perhaps because of that legacy he bought it.

Frank doesn't have a chin under his goatee, it's the world's fastest drop-catcher.

Before Frank moved there the island was just called "Cayman".
