Looks like customer support is doing a good job of making up for their crappy automatic renewal system. The problem wouldn't happen if they placed reminders in the sidebar like they do with domain renewals.

Agreed. It is a waste of everyones time and Im sure it is a "try it on" and see if customer notices system, not a mistake. They have NOW said they have sorted a refund, but Ive wasted 1/2 hr of my time.
