I have a few acutions pending with SaggyDimes as adversary. I have read they are buydomains, right ?

I would guess they bid with a controlled budget, but somehow I fear they can bid like crazy as well ... :(

I really wish to get these domains, but for other side, I dont want to rise the price unneedless. Say, I want to pay, $1,000 at most, and I bid up to this, but then, BD win me by bidding 1,500.00, how much would they put that domain for sale ?
I was thinking to let them win easy and then get them from them ...
I dont know what to do, I feel like I lose already ...

BD goes for certain type of domains, more (higher) than others.

Is Vertical (vaxis) and Cayman (quervo) also on the list?

BD has become a little more conservative in their bidding over the past 6 months.
However, I would speculate that BD's "controlled budget" is higher than yours.

They will not let you win it cheaply.

It is strictly a guess but I would assume they will price it at 10-20 times what
they paid for it.

10-20 times !? Nah, it does not make too much sense, win a domain at $1,000 and sale it by $20,000 ??
Well, thanks for the advise, I wont let them win it cheap as well ;)
In the special niche of domains in these cases I've seen BD appraising these special domains a bit low, may they don't know that nich (foreign language domains).

And no, VAXIS and Cayman are not in the list, but there are other guys who in the past have been in the same auctions as I am.

Just because they beat a reseller at auction for $1000, doesn't mean an enduser might not pay $20k, it all depends on the name.

I've only beaten B"F"D once for a high profile name, and that only because I really wanted the domain while B"F"D just wanted an investment. Just bear in mind that those big players have several accounts, so "joeblow" might as well be a high-profile domain player.

they get beat all the time..... there isn't one player who dominates the drops, day in and day out.. a bunch of em go at it. heck, i've even beaten em at least 10-15 times the other month... especially at pool.

do you have proof that any of this "players" have more then one account.... ? didn't know this.

Well, with pool. I just beat out Vaxis for a name. Bad thing is he bumped up the price of the name by $2k before I got it. :shy:
