as I am new to buying/selling i want to learn more about approaisal, because i honestly don't know what a fair market value is for any of my domains or what they are generally worth.

i know there is a forum for domain appraisal here, and i have started to use it, but i wanted to ask what other resources you recommend i take advantage of to get domains appraised, or what strategies should i utilize. i think broader based metrics are better, so although i will take into consideration what other domainers on DNF say in the appraisal forum, i would like to know some other tips and techniques for appraising so i can get a better feel for it. i don't want undervaluate my portfolio, and also this will help me in deciding what new names are worth the money. thanks all.

check closing sales prices at Sedo, Afternic, Moniker Auctions, Snapnames and Pool. Although most are summarized regularly at DnJournal.com
