Dear all,
I would like to understand if there's a way to move my domain from my actual provider (Domain Avenue) without an authorisation from them. I've sent several emails to them in the past years and they simply never reply. (I've read it from other users too)
I want to move my domain to more modern service provider, because DA has an old useless platform.
I'm new to the forums, I hope I'm respecting the codes.
Thanks!

You cannot transfer a domain (assuming normal extension) without an authorisation code sent from the registrar to the registrant. This is obviously to prevent thefts. However if they don't have a phone number you can call to speak to someone, and are repeatedly refusing to send information with no contact, you can report them to ICANN at https://www.icann.org/compliance/complaint - a quick threatening email to DA that it's the only route left to you will probably shake them up. However without knowing the domain extension I can't say exactly.
