Hey all,
I just seen a nice .net domain that may be worth snapping up, only I think it's not worth a $60 drop catch fee.

Hence I'm wondering at what time would a .net (that is marked for deletion in the next few of days) be available to register?

Thanks,
Tristan

at 2 PM EST (US)

That would be 7 PM in the UK
to find the exact day, go to pool.com, enter the domain, and you will see the day.
The drop usually lasts for about 30-45 minutes for all of .com/.net

I thought the same thing about many expiring names I had my eye on, and they all got picked up. If you really want the name, backorder it.

That is correct! 100% of Pending Delete .com & .net domains are picked up either by registrar drop catchers or by tasters. Your only chance to get it, was if a taster picked it up, then approx 4 days after, they would redrop it and you would have to be around the second it dropped, to try and get it again, before taster # 2 came around.

Wow, I didn't know 100% of them got caught up! Now I see why people are against domain tasting :)

Thinking about it, the domain probably was worth $60... what I pain that I missed it :( I'll know for the future now, though :)

Thanks for the replies!
