When I login to my master account today, my domain disappered from NameScout control panel.

It says "You have no active domains."

The original registrar is getyourdotnet.com, which i think is related to NameScout.

When I check the whois, it says getyourdotnet.com whois server is not accessible.

The domain is not expired. And, I just login 5 days ago. It was still listed in the control panel.

The domain is also Locked. I also didn't receive any transfer request email.

I called the office and the voice recording say they open Monday to Friday???

I have sent an email to support.

Please advice.

Only they can answer your question....we dont work for them

Thanks. Of course I know you guys don't work for them.

I have already emailed them since I can't get anyone on the phone.

It is an important domain.

I am seeking advice here.

That really doesn't sound very good....
best of luck to you.

It appears getyourdotnet.com has the same mailing address as pool.com so if this a name was aquired through pool and is at namescout you may have of been assigned a different UserName for that domain rather than your regular namescout account..

The domain was registered last year.

When I login to my master account 5 days ago, the domain was listed in the control panel.

But today when I login to the same account, it says "You do not have any registered domains."

God, I absolutely hate Namescout's multi-accounts. All this crap merging accounts, master accounts etc. When you have an account with Pool it should only generate single accounts at the registrars they use!

sometimes they merge accounts. Try making a password request based on your e-mail address and they will send you all the usernames/passwords for all the accounts based on that e-mail.

I called and spoke to a helpful NameScout staff, James.

The problem was solved. Our domain was not lost.

I asked why this happened and was told that it was probably a bug related to an automatic script.

If I didn't check on this name, I wounldn't know that this thing happened. My monitoring software shows no anomalies.

So guys, you need to check your important domains manually sometimes. If you own hundreds or thousands of names, it's possible that you can lose assets due to technical issues like this on the registrar's side.

By the time you discover it, it may be too late and if you are lucky, you probably need to pay a fee to recover the name.

I encountered this a few times before at a registrar full of flies. I made up my mind to leave and managed to move all my names from there over a year period.
